Bonding and grounding systems within a building are intended to have one electrical potential. When installed, the lightning protection system should meet the requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). While the bonding and grounding of the electrical service entrance is outside the scope of this Standard, coordination between electrical and telecommunications bonding and grounding system is essential for the proper application of this Standard. Throughout this presentation, we will give a better understanding of the requirements set forth by ANSI/TIA-607-C, Generic Telecommunications Bonding and Grounding (Earthing) for Customer Premises.
